Emmanuel Védrine

VEDRINE, Emmanuel W. Bibliographe, chercheur, éditeur, éducateur, interprète, linguiste, et écrivain, Védrine est l'auteur de plusieurs livres, articles et documents sur Haiti et sur le créole haitien. Né à l'Asile (Lazil), Haiti, le 15 janvier 1959, il est scolarisé en Haiti, aux Etats-Unis et en Europe. Détenteur d'un Bachélier ex-Lettres à l'Université de Massachusetts-Boston (1987), diplomé de Colegio De España (Salamanque, Espagne, «D.E.H» - Diplôme d'Études Supérieures en Études Hispaniques, 1989). Il a reçu l'honneur «Official Citation», du Doyen des Affaires Estudantiles de l'Université de Massachusetts-Boston pour ses services académiques.

Boursier de l'Université Harvard (1993), programme de doctorat en Linguistique. Il commença à enseigner dans les Écoles Publiques de Boston (1987) comme professeur des Sciences Sociales où il a ensigné: Histoire Américaine, Culture & Langue Haitienne, Préparation de Carrière et Langues Étrangères. Il a completé le programme pédagogique «Graduate Teachers' Program» (G.T.P) à Eastern Nazarene College (Quincy, Massachusetts). Conférencier à l'Université de Rhode Island (1990, dept. d'espagnol), à l'Université d'Indiana (1999-2001, dept. Français-Italien), Associé de recherches à l'Université d'Indiana (1999-2001), Chercheur en visite à l'Université de Salamanque (Salamanque, Espagne - 1982, 85, 87), à l'Université Nationale Autonome du Mexique (UNAM, 1983), à Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Allemagne, 1985), à l'Université de Massachusetts-Amherst (1991), à l'Université d'Indiana (1997). Professeur de français et espagnol à St.Gregory High School (Boston, Massachusetts 1992). Études de langue allemande à l'Institut Goethe de Boston (1992).

Foundateur & Éditeur en chef de «E. W. Intérêts en recherches: Éducation Bilingue, Developpement du matériel didactique, Linguistique (française, hispanique et créole), et Littérature (francophone, hispanique et créole).

VEDRINE, Emmanuel W. Bibliographer, researcher, editor, educator, interpreter, linguist, and writer Védrine has authored many books, articles, and documents on Haiti and on Haitian Creole. Born in l'Asile (Lazil), Haiti, he attended school in Haiti, the United States and Europe. B.A in Romance Languages at the University of Massachusetts-Boston (1987), he also graduated from Colegio De España (Salamanca, Spain – Diploma De Estudios Hispánicos (1989), where he received special training as "Instructor of Spanish as a Second Language". He was awarded an “Official Citation” by the Dean of Students' Affairs, University of Massachusetts-Boston for his services to the university.

Recipient of the Harvard University Graduate Fellowship (1993), Ph.D program – Dept of Linguistics. He entered Boston Public Schools (1987) as "Teacher of Social Studies", where he taught American History, World History, Haitian Culture & Language, Career Prep. and Foreign Language. He completed his "G.T.P" (Graduate Teachers' Program) at Eastern Nazarene College (Quincy, Massachusetts). He has served as Lecturer at the University of Rhode Island (1990, Dept. of Spanish), Lecturer and Associate Researcher at Indiana University (1999-2001, Dept. French & Italian); Visiting Researcher: Universidad De Salamanca (Salamanca, Spain - 1982, 85, 87), Universidad Nacional Autonoma De México (UNAM, 1983), Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Germany, 1985), University of Massachusetts-Amherst (1991), and Indiana University (1997). Teacher of French & Spanish at St. Gregory High School (Boston, Massachusetts 1992). German Language Studies at The Goethe Institute of Boston (1992).

Founder & Editor-in-chief of “E. W.
