(Emmanuel W. Védrine)
(February 4, 2021 : 4 Fevriye 2021)

N ap salye tout moun ki konekte sou Fowòm Lazil Touristik (L’Asile Touristique). Se yon bèl ide dèske w konekte, e tout moun ki kontribye, yon fason yon lòt atravè sa nou te kapab jwenn an liy (sou entènèt la) pou òganize bank done sa a pou Lazil.

We are greeting everyone who is connected to the L’Asile Touristic Forum). It’s a great idea to be connected, and everyone who has contributed one way or another through what we could find online to organize this database for L’Asile.

For the work to be done better, we need everyone’s participation. That is, if you have videos links, we can add them to this database.
Nou dwe chache mwayen travay ansanm, e avèk espesyalis ki vle ede nan domèn pa yo. Nou ta renmen mete tout lekòl Lazil an liy. Kijan sa ka fèt? Nou ka jis entèvyouwe direktè yo, pwofesè lekòl, pwoblèm y ap konfwonte, e sa yo ta renmen wè pou amelyore fason y ap anseye.… Ou kapab voye foto lekòl yo ban nou (foto elèv an gwoup ki nan lekòl sa yo) pou n dokimante tout bagay.   We should find a way to work together, and with specialists who are also willing to help in their domains. We woud like to put all schools in Lazil online. How can that be done? We can just interview their principles /headmasters, teachers, problems they are facing, and what they would like to see to improve their way of teaching... You can send us the schools’ pictures (group  of students in these schools) to document everything.
Nou bezwen non tout biznis /foto yo… konsa y ap nan bank done a.   Everyone’s name who contributes will be credited… For example, if you send us pictures /or those you take with your camera… your name will be mentioned. If you send us videos, you will be acknowledged, and it’s also an advertising for you. We need names of all business /their pictures… that way they will be in the database.
Nou konte sou patisipasyon w kòm travay sivik pou aprann ede kominote w, komin, e peyi w.   To be at a touristic level, we must work together (those in L’Asile and those in diaspora who have experience abroad). We count on your participation as a civic duty to learn to help your community, commune, and country.
Nou bezwen dokimante tout legliz e lòt enstitisyon tou. Nou kapab gen foto yo (foto moun an gwoup)… We also need to document all churches and other institutions. We can have their pictures (group pictures)... It’s a way for the L’Asile diaspora to remain connected with their native commune and also to contribute one way or another to its development.
Donk avèk ralonj wèb sa a ki sible Lazil, li pral, san oken dout, mete komin sa a nan yon nivo entènasyonal kote n ka ajoute tout travay endividyèl pou benefis pèp li ki fè pati Ayiti… Konsa, nou pral gen tout moun anba yon sèl parapli… Wi, kèk nan nou vle fè kèk travay men se yon pwoblèm lè n pa eseye fè yon travay kolektif pou yon objektif komen… --- Pafwa, nou ka fè travay endividyèl oubyen an ti gwoup… men nou dwe mete travay nou /sa n akonpli disponib a piblik la.   So, with this web link focusing on L’Asile, it will definitely put that commune at an international level and we can merge all individual works for the benefit of its people as part of Haiti... That way, we will have everyone under one umbrella… Yes, some of us want to do things but it’s a problem when we don’t try to work collectively for a common goal... --- There are times when we may work individually or in some small groups… but we should make our works /what we accomplish available to the public.
Lazil se yon komin rich natirèlman palan, kote l sitiye, an tèm sa k kapab fèt si moun ki sot la deside travay ansanm pou devlopman l. An jeneral pou tout komin an Ayiti, si moun kapab mete enterè pèsonèl yo de kote pou travay tout bon pou atenn yon objektif komen ki pral benefisye tout moun, se ta gran mèvèy pou tout peyi a.   L’Asile is a rich commune naturally speaking, its location, and in terms of what can be done if its people decide to work together toward its development. In general for all communes in Haiti, if the people can put personal interests away to work for real to achieve a common goal from which everyone can benefit, that would be marvelous for the entire country.
Men yon fwa tout Ayisyen pran konsyans de sa, y ap kapab ranvèse l (pou travay ansanm, ede youn lòt pou ranfòse filozofi konbit la, e travay pou yon objektif komen, pou fyète e byennèt tout moun). Yon fwa n òganize, nou pral wè bagay estraòdinè, solisyone pwoblèm tankou:   Generally speaking, it’s Haitians’ poor mentality that contributes to Haiti’s underdevelopment. But once all Haitians are conscious of that, they will be able to reverse it (by working together, helping one another to reinforce the konbit or collective work philosophy, and work toward a common goal for everyone’s pride and welfare). Once we are organized, we will see amazing things, solving problems such as:
Agrikilti, analfabetis • Anseyan (mank preparasyon yo nan fè lekòl tèt anba nan yon peyi tèt anba, jan Yves Dejan mansyone) • Bibliyotèk piblik ki pa egziste nan chak komin • Laboratwa konpwoutè lekòl yo pa genyen • Edikasyon gratis pou tout timoun  (soti laj 5 an pou rive 19 an) • Elektrisite • Enfrastrikti de baz (tout sa k antre ladan) • Ensekirite • Irigasyon • Kreyasyon travay /aktivite ekonomik • Kreyòl dwe itilize nan tout lekòl kòm lang enstriksyon (soti nivo fondamantal rive nivo inivèsitè menm si liv yo ta an fransè /poko tradui an kreyòl, anseyan dwe bay esplikasyon nan lang matènèl la), e lang nasyonal ki dwe prezan nan tout bagay • Oryantasyon biznis e envestisman ta dwe enkli nan korikilòm oubyen pwogram lekòl (depi nivo fondamantal) • Pwogram pou lajenès • Pwogram sante pou tout • Pwogram metye  -- dwe genyen  yo nan tout lekòl piblik • wout (gran wout e wout lokal dwe konstwi atravè peyi a, e nan tout komin dekwa pou desantralize Ayiti rapidman).   Agriculture, illiteracy • teachers (their lack of preparation in teaching in upside down schools in an upside down country as Yves Dejean mentions) • Public libraries that don’t exist in the communes) • computer labs that  schools lack • Free education for all children (ages 5 to 19) • Electricity • Basic infrastructure • Insecurity • Irrigation • Jobs creation • Kreyòl should be used in all schools as language of instruction (from fundamental to university level even if the books are in French /have not been translated to Kreyòl) teachers should give explanation in the native language • Business orientation e investment should be included in the school curriculum (from fundamental level) • Youth programs • Health programs for all • Trade program should be in public schools • Roads (should be constructed across the country, and in all communes in order to decentralize Haiti rapidly).
N ap mande w pataje dokiman sa a souple ak tout moun (kèlkeswa komin yo soti), e atravè rezo sosyal yo. Se jis yon apèl revèy pou chak Ayisyen panse fè kèk bagay pou ede devlope komin kote yo moun (oubyen soti) epi ede lòt komin tou, yon fason yon lòt pou montre solidarite.   Please share this document with everyone (regardless the commune they are from) and through social networks. It is just a wakeup call for every Haitian to do something to help their native commune and also to help other communes as well, one way or another to show solidarity.
Se yon chemen kout nou ka pran pou ede tout peyi a rapidman lè si n angaje n nan travay sivik pou pote pwòp kontribisyon nou nan gwo kòve (konbit) pou ede Ayiti ale vè lavan.   That’s a shortcut we can take to help the entire country rapidly when we can be engaged in doing civil works to bring our own contribution to the great collective work to help Haiti moving forward.
