La revue internationale Tanbou se réjouit de publier cette pléthore de voix et de sensibilités poétiques qui s'unissent dans ces pages pour étaler la beauté des littératures haïtiennes - dans leurs expressions créole, française et anglaise - autant que la quête de la justice et de l'authenticité de l'être. Chacune de ces voix est une révélation qui invite à l'introspection.
Publiée en trois langues et réunissant 67 écrivains et artistes haïtiens de différentes générations, sensibilités et particularités stylistiques, l'anthologie est déjà une grande première de la littérature haïtienne.
Cette publication est le premier volume d'une série de production anthologique de la revue. Nous sommes également heureux d'inaugurer la série avec deux des plus grands taureaux de la littérature du XXè et du début du XXIè siècles: Jacques Roumain et Paul Laraque. Le hasard a voulu que l'année de la mort de Laraque, 2007, coïncide avec l'année du centenaire de la naissance de Roumain, né en1907.

The international review Tanbou presents this plethora of voices and poetic sensibilities, united in these pages to display the beauty of Haitian literatures - in their Creole, French and English expressions - as well as the quest for justice and for authenticity. Each voice is a revelation that invites introspection.
Published in three languages and featuring 67 Haitian writers and artists from different generations, sensibilities and styles, the anthology is already a groundbreaking event for Haitian literature.
This publication is the first in a series of anthological productions from Tanbou. We are equally happy to inaugurate the series with two of the giants of the 20th and beginning 21st centuries: Jacques Roumain and Paul Laraque. Fate has it that the year of Laraque's death, 2007, coincides with the year of the centenary of Roumain, born in 1907.
