2003-2005: Tutor at Faculté de Linguistique Appliquée, Université d’Etat d’Haïti. Experience: I was part of a group of students and professors during several years to produce a monolingual Creole dictionary.

Conferences attendance and contribution

March 2010: Conference on «Solidarity and cancer in Haïti», a study conducted on patients of prostate cancer at  «Maison pour tous» Gérard Philippe, Villejuif, France.

March 2010: Lecture at the International Conference of African Association Literature, held at University of Arizona, Tucson (USA). Theme: «Relations between Human being and the Environment in the Jacques Roumain’s (1907-1944) story entitled Gouverneurs de la Rosée». This article was published by Irène Almeida (ala2010tucson@gmail.com), professor of literature at University of Arizona.

November 2010: Lecture  «De la collecte des données empiriques en Haïti à la construction linguistique de la réalité», at Sorbonne during a symposium entitled «west indian regional french», organized  by professor André Thibault. This contribution will be soon published in a collective book directed by the above professor.

March 2011: Lecture intitled «techniques of ground survey in Haiti in Ethnography and Ethnolinguistics fields» at Sorbonne, on invitation of André Thibault. Attendance: Master and PhD Linguistics students.

Mai 28, 2011: Meeting at Cité de la Santé: associations and volunteers face to Cancer and other pathologies, directed by réseau thématique 35 de l'AFS Association Française de Sociologie (French Sociology Association). Theme: Role of the associations in the fight against pathologies of tumor in Haiti.

Decembre 17, 2011:  Lecture in Fontenay-Sous-Bois. Theme: How to realize a thesis in less than three years without financing? Invitation launched by Madame Alexis Maryse Bique, president of Saint-George History Society and Dalayrac).

Awards

December 2001: Certificate of excellence as laureate to the admission test at the Applied Linguistics College.

June 2005: Lauréate Prize Honor at the Haitian State University which  provided me a scholarship.

March 2008: Laureate of a literary prize organized by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie on the theme «Ma rencontre avec la langue française». Prize awarded in presence of his Excellence M. Abdou Diouf, Secrétaire Général of OIF and his Excellence, Nicolas Sarkozy, France president.

Juin 2008: Humanities and Social Sciences Laureate prize of Cancéropôle Ile-de-France. This prize was issued by the Professor François Sigaux, Scientific director of Cancéropôle Ile-de-France. This is an award provided to researchers on Cancer issues.
